Biography
MacQueen joined NCAR as a Staff scientist in 1967 and attained Senior Scientist status in 1973. He was Head of the Coronal Physics Section from 1977-79, Director of HAO from 1979-86 and Associate Director of NCAR from 1986-1988. He then became Acting Director of NCAR from 1988-1989. Left NCAR in 1990 after a 1 year sabbatical to head the physics department at Rhodes College.

This collection contains the offical records of the HAO Director Robert M. McQueen. It covers his early research days at John Hopkins through his entire career at NCAR. The collection is organized into nine series, primarily organized by the programs and projects he was involved in.
