General History, 1981-1982

This series contains culmination documents published at the end of the Summer Employment Program (SEP) 1981 and 1982. Summer Employment Program (SEP) was the UCAR/NCAR predecessor program of SOARS which spanned a 15 year time frame 1980-1995. SEP's primary goal was to introduce women and minority undergraduates to scientific research careers in a 10 week summer program. Student papers are published in these documents. Selections from the Summer Employment Program Records have been digitized and are available online.
