Biographical / Historical
Comprised of approximately 70 staff and an ever-revolving group of visiting researchers, the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology (MMM) Laboratory has the mission to advance the understanding of the meso- and microscale aspects of weather and climate, and to apply this knowledge to benefit society.
MMM was born out of Atmospheric Analysis and Prediction (AAP) Division and the Cloud Systems Division in 1987.
