Biographical / Historical

The Mount Washington Icing Sensors Project was conducted during the month of April 1999 in the vicinity of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, a region with significant amounts of icing and freezing drizzle. This was the first major field program ever conducted to test the ability of remote sensing devices to measure supercooled liquid water and freezing drizzle.
