AMS 1; two physical versions (one master, one copy). Forms part of American Meteorological Society Oral History Project. Walter M. Elsasser discusses his research in geophysics and atmospheric radiation, 1937-1942, and his work at the California Institute of Technology, and the Blue Hill Observatory. The strengths of the interview are his comments about other scientists, including Charles Brooks, John Strong, and Carl-Gustaf Rossby.
