Supercomputing: The View from NCAR FY 87 Review & FY 88-89 Development Plan, 1987

A 139 page bound manual dated December, 1987 containing a FY87 Review and FY88-89 Development Plan for the NCAR Scientific Computing Division. Good summary of SCD as it existed in 1987. This document contains a section on NCAR Graphics. The distinction between Version 1.0 (distributed in August 1986) and Version 1.00 (distributed in April, 1987) is mentioned (namely, Version 1.00 was not in the public domain). Prior to Version 1.00, NCAR Graphics was in the public domain and could be used without restriction. Version 2.00 is discussed and FY88-FY89 plans are given. There is a section on the status of the visualization lab.
