    This collection is housed in five record cartons and arranged into the following three series: I. Trips II. Desert Research Institute III. UCAR As much as possible, the original folder titles have been maintained. In the container list, these titles have been transcribed as accurately as possible. There is not a distinction made between the original folder titles and those provided by the processor.

    The Clifford J. Murino Papers contain records pertaining to Dr. Murino's work as the President of UCAR from 1983 to 1988. The collection consists of correspondence, conference materials, notes, reports, clippings, and photographic materials.

  • Processing Information

    This collection was processed in December 2011. Materials were rehoused in acid-free folders and metal fasteners were removed. Photographic materials were rehoused in appropriate preservation enclosures. Duplicate materials, travel vouchers, and human resources records were removed from the collection. Original order was maintained with minor corrections in misfiling.
