The Edwin L. Wolff Papers collection contains correspondence, handwritten notes, agenda, and personal sheet music. These records were organized into chronological files and log books and span most of Edwin L. Wolff's professional career at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
This collection is arranged to reflect its original order. The Chronological Files are arranged by reverse chronological order and the Log Books are arranged chronologically according to the dates written on the front cover. The collection is housed in two record cartons and organized into two series:

II. Log Books

The collection must be viewed in the Archives during normal business hours.
Donated to the NCAR Archives prior to 2009. Further accession details are incomplete or absent.
Duplicate records and records that contain sensitive information, such as health records, were removed from this collection.
Accruals and Additions
No accruals or additions are expected.
Processing was completed in March 2012. The original order was maintained; materials are grouped together by format and original purpose. All materials within Series I: Chronological Files were removed from metal fastener binders and placed into acid-free folders The folders and the items within each folder are arranged in reverse chronological order. The items within Series II: Log Books are bound in cloth and arranged in chronological order by the date written on the front cover. Metal fasteners were removed and replaced with plastic clips. Duplicate records, blank staff paper, routine records, and records that revealed sensitive information were discarded from the collection.
