Production of Computer Generated Films, 1985-1991
This folder contains the article "The Production of Scientific Films Using a Digital Computer and Optical Output Device" by Tom Wright, J.C.H. Mungall, A.C. Vastano, and R.E. Whitaker. It dates to the early 1970s. Also contained is "A Guide to the Production of Computer Generated Films" by Ken Hansen, dated February 1985. Version 2.0 of this is also here, dated July 1988 and Version 3.0, dated January 1991.

This describes functions allowing a user to generate and store graphics instructions and insert them a subsequent times without having to regenerate the instructions. The document in this folder is dated March, 1989. GFLASH is a GKS based version of the FLASH package in the early versions of NCAR Graphics.

Installer's Guide Version 2.00 VAX/VMS Release, 1987
The Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division ran VAX computers for many years and needed a version of NCAR Graphics specific for those machines. Programmers in that division undertook this task and the manual in this folder described how to implement that package.
