Staff Notes (March 5, 1976). Diane Johnson becomes Head of the Information Office of NCAR. She had worked in NCAR's Information Office since 1969, was a member of the Women's Caucus of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, served on the Public Information Committee of the Colorado Commission on the Status of Women, worked with NCAR scientist Margaret LeMone in developing statistics on the status of women in meteorology for the American Meteorological Society's Board on Women and Minorities, and gave a talk on the subject at an AMS convention.

The collection contains press releases, article reprints, research notes, clippings, brochures, films and audio recordings, slides, background materials used by Information Office staff to perform their job functions, planning documents and records documenting the 20th and 25th anniversaries of NCAR, records covering the functions of the Information Office, and several files that detail NCAR research and science.
