Photos from the Planning for Seven Generations: Indigenous and Scientific Approaches to Climate Change conference. The conference pondered two different perspectives on climate change, one rooted in indigenous experience and the other informed by current scientific methods. It featured climate change observations by Native American elders along with scientific presentations of new technologies for mapping climate change impacts. Symposium speakers include Elisabeth Holland, Billy Frank, Jr., Oscar Kawagley, Albert White Hat, Sr., Caspar Ammann, Denise Stephenson Hawk, and Shannon McNeeley.
