A collection of scanned photos contributed by scientist Margaret (Peggy) LeMone related to the GATE and TAMEX projects. The Global Atmospheric Research Program's (GARP) Atlantic Tropical Experiment (GATE) took place June 15, 1974 to September 23, 1974.The Taiwan Area Mesoscale Experiment (TAMEX) was a cooperative research program between scientists of the Republic of China and the United States from May 1, 1987 to June 29, 1987. LeMone appears in many pictures, and others are identified by the file name including Barney, Bill Gray, Dick Reed, Dick Johnson, Joachim Kuettner, Miller, Rasmussen, Joanne (Simpson). The photographer(s) are unknown.
