BEACHON: Scientists in the field, 2008-09-10
Scope and Contents
A collection of photos from the BEACHON (Bio-hydro-atmosphere interactions of Energy, Aerosols, Carbon, H20, Organics, and Nitrogen) project in the Manitou Experimental Forest. Scientists with the BEACHON project are studying how forests impact weather and air quality, and are seen interacting with ground-based and tower-based instrumentation. Alex Guenther, Peter Harley, Tim Lim, and Christine Wiedenmyer are among the NCAR scientists in the photos, as is UCAR staff photographer Carlye Calvin.
