Scope and Contents
This is a collection of photos of frigate birds, taken during the Rain in Cumulus over the Ocean (RICO) project in Antigua and Barbuda. There are photos of males, females, and chicks on the nest, as well as adults in flight. Females have white underbellies and males have a distinctive red gular pouch, which they inflate during the breeding season to attract females.
