SOARS protégé Anastasia Yanchilina works on the Selected Ion Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer (SICIMS), to be flown aboard the C-130 research aircraft. Anastasia and her mentor Lee Mauldin used this instrument to better understand how sulfur contributes to cloud formation.
