A collection of photos the summer deployment of the Arctic Research of the Composition of the Troposphere from Aircraft and Satellites (ARCTAS) mission, which targeted the effects of boreal forest fires, stratosphere-troposphere exchange, and summertime photochemistry on the arctic atmosphere. There are photos from planning sessions, instrument preparation, and scientists aboard the research aircraft during mission flights.
