Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Water winners, 2014-10-16

In the group photo they are, left to right, Valery Zavorotny (NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory), Kristine Larson (CU Boulder), Eric Small (CU Boulder), and John Braun (UCAR COSMIC). The team won the prize for developing a new observational technique that takes advantage of data from high-precision GPS stations. The group named the technique GPS Interferometric Reflectometry (GPS-IR).
