User's Guide for NCAR GKS-0A Graphics, Version 2.0 and 3.0, 1990, 1993

In the early to mid 1980s the SCD Graphics Group undertook the task of basing the graphics package on the ANSI/ISO Graphical Kernel System (GKS) Standard for two-dimensional graphics. GKS would replace the locally-developed System Plot Package (SPP) low-level functionality. The GKS conversion effort culminated in its first release in August of 1986. This folder contains user guides for using GKS, as well as documentation for SPPS, the System Plot Package Simulator. The folder contains documentation for Version 2.0 (October, 1990) and Version 3.0 (April, 1993). Also contained are documents relating to the conversion effort.
