Scope and Contents
A letter from Roy Mendelssohn, dated April 20, 1992, describing his Macintosh specific implementation of NCAR Graphics which he was willing to distribute for no compensation. He was granted permission to do this, since there was no in-house version for the Macintosh at that time. This distribution was superseded by the official SCD UNIX distribution when Apple moved to UNIX in 2002.
Notes from a Scientific Visualization Group Planning Retreat in 1993. Main action items were: NCAR Interactive, the Visualization Labs, improved mapping capabilities, 3D.
