XCOED: X Window System Color Editor, 1990

This was a collaborative project with students from the University of Colorado Department of Computer Science (under CU instructor Bruce Sanders) and the SCD NCAR Graphics Group member John Clyne. The project took place in the 1989-1990 school year and the goal was to provide an interactive color editor to aid in the selection of color values. The CU project team consisted of Jeff Boote, Daniel A. Wells, and Dee Wu. This folder contains the final written report including the original proposal and specifications, as well as a user manual and maintenance manual. The product was delivered in May, 1990. One very positive aspect of this project was that Jeff Boote became a full time staff member of the NCAR Graphics Group and participated in the development of NCL.
