This book of photographs documents the SOARS program. The front flap of the book jacket states: “Presented to Richard Anthes, PhD. Thank you for creating SOARS and ensuring its continued success. Your vision and leadership contributed to a strong program that influences lives and helps ensure the continued success and relevance of the atmospheric and related sciences.” Included with the book is a thank you card containing handwritten messages to Richard Anthes, dated August 2011.
