A note from Richard Anthes accompanying the film states: “This reel of movie film shows time lapse movies of mountain wave clouds over White Sands Missile Range and other places, from 20 August 1968 to roughly the mid 1970s. It was sent to Professor Hans Panofsky at Penn State, and Panofsky gave it to Rick Anthes. Rick and Tom Warner visited WSMR several times in the 1970s and ran early versions of MM5 on flow over the White Sands...
