Scope and Contents By the summer of 1992 the user base for NCAR Graphics had grown to a size where it was felt that it would be valuable to have a conference where talks could be given (both by SCD staff and users) and participants could exchange ideas. Scope and Contents Since the mid 1970s the DOE Computer Graphics Forum has been an annual event. This is a conference where government-sponsored computer graphics and scientific visualization professionals can meet to exchange research and development. The participants come primarily from the Department of Energy labs, but other government funded institutions sometimes attend.
