Scope and Contents Since the mid 1970s the DOE Computer Graphics Forum has been an annual event. This is a conference where government-sponsored computer graphics and scientific visualization professionals can meet to exchange research and development. The demand for higher resolution, color, and microfiche drove the decision to migrate to DICOMED film recorders in the early 1980s.
