Biography
Roger Wakimoto, atmospheric scientist in the field of mesoscale meteorology, was the director of the Earth Observing Laboratory fom 2005-2010 and served as the director of NCAR from 2010-2013. He went on to become the assistant director of the National Science Foundation Directorate for Geosciences.
