This file contains slides and corresponding notes. Slides are from Robert Chervin's study of midlatitude impacts of El Niño events, using the Chervin Climate Model and analyses of observations made by the National Meteorological Center, Camp Springs, Maryland, at the 700 millibar height. The series of slides represent six climate anomalies (departures from long-term means) for the period 1947-1983.
